Proccy.com was established in 2004 in London, United Kingdom, and operated in the UK for 3 years before moving operations down to Cape Town, South Africa, in August 2007, where the company is now based. The company is a specialist Web design and development agency run by myself Brendan Proctor (Proccy).

Before starting Proccy.com in 2004, I worked for a Business Services company in London for 3 years as the in-house graphic designer, creating marketing material, printed stationery and web-sites for various companies in greater London. Eventually the time came to move on and establish Proccy.com.

Web experience

Since establishing Proccy.com, the main focus has evolved into the design and development of web-sites, from the initial brief to the site launch with a focus on good usability and the use of clean CSS and strict Xhtml to create attractive, fast, clean and user friendly web-sites.

Over the course of 7 years in the web design business I have developed a real passion for creating web sites utilising CSS, or web standards. The use of CSS ensures that each web template downloads quickly with minimal images, is easier to maintain, therefore cheaper for the client, and allows for many more creative options for each design.

I gained valuable experience in the UK serving advertising agencies, developing their client's web templates to strict CSS and Xhtml guidelines. As well as developing to these guidelines all web templates are always built to perform and look identical in all browsers and all computer platforms.
